Privacy policy

1. Data protection at a glance

This website is deliberately built to be data-minimal. It sets no cookies, embeds no external services and transfers no data to third parties when it is loaded. There is no tracking and no analysis of your usage behaviour. Fonts, images, scripts and styles are loaded exclusively from our own server.

2. Responsible body

FIDES Bildung eGbR
Westendhof 4
45143 Essen
Germany

Represented by: Andrej Wagner
Telephone: 0162 35 944 73
E-mail: hallo@fides-bildung.de

The responsible body is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data.

3. Server log files

The provider of this website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. These are:

  • browser type and browser version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • host name of the accessing computer
  • time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. It is collected on the basis of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and the optimisation of its website — for this, the server log files must be recorded.

4. Getting in contact

By e-mail or telephone

If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, your enquiry including all personal data arising from it (name, enquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass this data on without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO, insofar as your enquiry is connected with the performance of a contract or is necessary for carrying out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of the enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO) or on your consent (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO), where this has been requested.

Via the contact form

The contact form on this website transfers no data to our server. From your entries it merely composes an e-mail in your own e-mail programme, which you then send yourself. Only when you send this e-mail does your information reach us — by the same route as an ordinary e-mail.

5. Storage period

Unless a more specific storage period is stated within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose of the data processing no longer applies. If you assert a justified request for deletion or withdraw your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted, unless we have other legally permissible grounds for storing your personal data — such as retention periods under tax or commercial law. In the latter case, deletion takes place once these grounds no longer apply.

Enquiries in connection with course participation as well as documents relating to funded measures are subject to the retention obligations arising from employment promotion law and from the requirements of the certifying body.

6. Your rights

You have the right at any time to request:

  • information about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data (Art. 15 DSGVO),
  • the correction of incorrect data (Art. 16 DSGVO),
  • the deletion of your data (Art. 17 DSGVO),
  • the restriction of processing (Art. 18 DSGVO),
  • data portability (Art. 20 DSGVO),
  • and to object to the processing (Art. 21 DSGVO),
  • to withdraw consent given at any time (Art. 7 Abs. 3 DSGVO) — the lawfulness of the processing carried out up to the withdrawal remains unaffected.

For this, contact the responsible body named above informally.

7. Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority

In the event of breaches of the DSGVO, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged breach. For North Rhine-Westphalia this is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen. This right exists without prejudice to other administrative or judicial remedies.

8. SSL or TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser address bar switching from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock symbol in your browser bar. When encryption is active, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

9. External links

This website contains links to external websites, for example to map services for directions. These are only loaded when you actively click the link. The respective provider is responsible for the data processing on the linked pages.

10. No automated decision-making

Automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 DSGVO, does not take place.
